Born on 20th of September 1974 in Alytus district.
In 1992 graduated the Krosna Secondary School in Lazdijai district.
In 1997 graduated the Veterinary Faculty of the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy.
In 1998 – 2000 – Veterinary inspector of Lazdijai district State Veterinary Hospital.
In 1998 – 2001 – Private veterinary practice in Lazdijai district.
In 2001 –2007 – Head of Pathological Anatomy and Histology Unit in the National Veterinary Laboratory.
In 2007 – 2008 – Deputy Director of the National Veterinary Laboratory.
In 2008 – 2010 – Deputy Director of the National Food and Veterinary Risk Assessment Institute.
Since 5th of November 2010 and at present Director of the National Food and Veterinary Risk Assessment Institute.
During 2001 – 2010 attended training courses in Ireland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, USA, Norway, and other countries in educational and food safety and veterinary control institutions.
As an expert, participated in international training projects in Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kosovo, Romania, Belorussia and other counties.
Co-author of the scientific articles in Lithuanian and foreign periodicals.
Membership in organizations:
Has command of the English and Russian languages.
Hobbies: hunting, traveling.
