The Unit of Information Systems (hereinafter referred to as “the Unit”) actively participates in development, implementation and maintenance of information systems, registers, databases of the Institute. The Unit seeks to modernize the management of data so, that staff could devote work time for its direct activities and all functions related to data transfer, storage and analysis would be carried out by the information system. The Unit ensures smooth work of computers and other computer equipment and computer networks. The Unit organizes computerization of the Institute and its territorial branches, manages a network of computers and monitors technical conditions of computers and software, The Unit reasonable of organization and preaparation of technically and economically reasonable technical specifications of procurement of software and hardware, organization of training courses for the staff of Institute to work with information systems, registers, and databases. It collects and analyzes information about the usage of computer hardware and software at the Institute and its braches. . The Unit plans to create a quality management system for the documents and standards, introduce a personnel management system and to improve website of the Institute.
