Law and Personnel Unit

Head of the Unit – Jurgita Pirantaite

The Law and Personnel Unit (hereinafter referred to as “the Unit”) ensure Institute’s legal regulation and development of human resources, coordinates implementation of the legal provisions, participates in formation of organizational culture of the institution, helps to implement the aims and tasks and granted rights and authorities of the Institute specified in the legal acts. The Unit prepares the drafts of legislation, contracts and other documents, carries out examination of drafts of legislation prepared by Institute’s Units, participates in public procurement procedures, represents the Institute in courts and other institutions, helps to personnel to realize their right to seek a career. The Unit takes servants into service and administrates their holiday schedule, prepares personnel job description list, plans the annual personnel training courses and their implementation. The Unit administrates register of public servants and organizes their annual activity assessment. The Unit participates in creation of progressive and effective legal system of the Institute corresponding national and EU requirements.
